Emily Armstrong — Biography

Born on May 6th, 1986, Emily Marcia Armstrong is an American vocalist. She has one sibling, a younger brother. Armstrong, a founding member of the band Dead Sara, stepped into the role of Linkin Park's new female lead singer in September of 2024. This appointment came after the passing of their established lead vocalist, Chester Bennington, in 2017. For a considerable period, speculation circulated regarding the band's search for a female lead to fill the void left by Bennington, leading up to the official announcement of Armstrong as their chosen member.
