Faith Brown — Biography
Eunice Irene Carroll, known professionally as Faith Brown, was born on May 28, 1944, in Liverpool. She has built a distinguished career as an English actress, singer, comedian, and remarkably skilled impressionist. Her early performing years saw her singing with her brothers in a vocal group called The Carrolls, and she also pursued a solo singing career before channeling her innate talent for mimicry into the world of comedy impressions.
Brown became a notable figure on television, particularly for her role as a star on the ITV impressions program Who Do You Do?. Audiences also recognized her distinctive voice as The Voice in the television series Trapped!. Her own comedy special, The Faith Brown Awards, a production by London Weekend Television for ITV, drew an impressive 9.8 million viewers when it aired in September 1978.
