À propos de Francoise Boufhal
Françoise Boufhal was born on December 18, 1988, and is an English fashion model, actress, and television presenter. Growing up in Stocksfield and later Newcastle Upon Tyne in Northumberland, she attended Broomley First School followed by Ponteland Middle School, where she experienced persistent bullying that she credits with strengthening her determination to achieve success. She later moved to Gosforth High School while pursuing her career.
Her entertainment career commenced at age eleven when she became part of The Live Theatre company, a Newcastle-based youth theatre group that gained prominence through actor Robson Green. Her breakthrough came with a notable role in the popular BBC1 children's program Byker Grove, where she portrayed Ellie Baines, the girlfriend of a character named Stumpy. The casting process proved challenging, as producers initially considered her appearance unsuitable until they specifically created the role for her. She also participated in the pilot episode of GRUBBS, a children's cooking series intended for the Discovery Kids channel that ultimately did not proceed due to the producer's death.
As an infant, Boufhal earned recognition as the prettiest baby at the Metro Centre. At sixteen, she signed with a Newcastle modeling agency while continuing her education. Despite her striking appearance at five feet four inches tall with a 28H chest measurement, she faced repeated rejections from fashion houses due to her height and unconventional figure. She subsequently worked with Girl Management in London and later Samantha Bond Management. Throughout her modeling career, she declined numerous offers for topless photography work, including a proposal from musician Bryan Adams for Italian Playboy.
Her magazine appearances included features in Nuts, Zoo, and the April 2009 cover of Maxim. The Daily Star identified her as their latest discovery, positioning her alongside figures like Kelly Brook and Lucy Pinder. In 2010, she appeared in a non-pictorial article in Playboy USA.
In April 2009, footballer Rio Ferdinand engaged her as co-presenter for his digital magazine 5, where she conducted interviews with personalities including Danny Dyer, Alan Carr, and Ashley Cole, with content available on rioferdinand.com. She also served as weekly Bloke Counsellor for Maxim UK. In May 2010, she began her MTV career interviewing celebrities and exotic car collectors for programming about the London Motor Museum.
