Genevieve Morton — Biography

Native to Benoni, Gauteng and Scottburgh in South Africa, Genevieve Morton has established herself as a prominent figure in high-profile photography campaigns. Her breakthrough moment arrived in 2010 when she debuted in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, launching what would become an ongoing relationship with the publication. She subsequently graced the covers of multiple editions spanning 2011 when the issue was shot in Fiji, 2012 featuring Zambia, 2013 shot at Hayman Islands, 2014 in Switzerland, and 2015 in the Virgin Islands. Her modeling career extended beyond swimwear when Esquire Online featured her in their Me in My Place segment, documenting her apartment lifestyle in New York City. The South African native also collaborated with the comedic group The Lonely Island for an appearance in a US GQ publication. Recognition from her home country came when she was selected for the cover of the South African GQ Soccer World Cup edition. In 2012, Morton appeared in the music video for Gavin DeGraw's track Sweeter. Her social media presence has grown substantially, with her Instagram account reaching 378,000 followers as of June 2024.
