Gia Genevieve — Biography
Gia Genevieve was raised in a suburban area of Los Angeles, California. With a deep appreciation for the allure of vintage Hollywood, she began her modeling career within the rockabilly scene, participating in shoots for retro clothing brands and classic car publications. Gia had always envisioned a future in fashion, prompting her to seek representation, and she was signed by Wilhelmina NY in 2013. She attributes her major breakthrough in the industry to the renowned fashion photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, who photographed her for the cover of Galore Magazine in 2014 and later for the March 2015 edition of Playboy Magazine.
Currently, Gia is traveling the globe as part of a tour with one of her role models, Dita Von Teese, with whom she shares her birthday, September 28th, though they are 16 years apart. Gia made her burlesque debut in Dita's New Year's Eve show in 2017 and quickly joined the 2018 tour afterward. Under Dita's guidance, she mastered the art of sensual striptease, performing alongside Dita's iconic gold sparkle bathtub.
