Gig Gangel — Biography

Geraldine Gangel, known professionally as Gig, came into the world on October 17, 1958, in Harlingen, Texas. She established herself as both a model and actress in the entertainment industry. Her most notable recognition came when she was selected as Playboy magazine's featured Playmate for January 1980, with photography by Ken Marcus. Her appearance in the publication's centerfold led to her being featured across multiple international editions of Playboy. The January 1980 issue of Playboy France showcased her as their Playmate of the Month, followed by Playboy Japan featuring her in February 1980. She subsequently appeared in Playboy Brazil's April 1980 edition and Playboy Italy's May 1980 issue, each naming her their Playmate of the Month.
