Jamie-Lynn Sigler — Biography
Jamie-Lynn Sigler is a prominent American actress and podcaster, widely recognized for her portrayal of Meadow Soprano on HBO's acclaimed series The Sopranos, as well as her role as Detective Megan Dungerson in Beef House. She co-hosts the "Not Today, Pal" podcast alongside her Sopranos co-star Robert Iler and shares hosting duties on the "MeSsy" podcast with actress Christina Applegate. Sigler's heritage includes Ashkenazi, Romaniote (Greek Jewish), and Sephardic Jewish roots from her father, while her mother hails from Cuba. In 2012, she entered into a romantic relationship with baseball player Cutter Dykstra, whose father is former Major League Baseball player Lenny Dykstra. The couple became engaged on January 28, 2013, and shortly thereafter announced their expectation of their first child. Sigler welcomed their first son on August 28, 2013, and the couple exchanged vows in Palm Springs, California, on January 16, 2016. Their second son was born on January 15, 2018. In January 2016, Sigler disclosed her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) at the age of 20. During the filming of Campfire Stories in Hamburg, New Jersey, in 2000, she experienced temporary paralysis from the waist down, which was later linked to her MS but initially misdiagnosed as Lyme disease. In 2023, Sigler was featured in a television commercial for Novartis' multiple sclerosis medication, Kesimpta. As of August 2025, she has garnered a following of 456,000 on Instagram.
