Jane Asher — Biography
Jane Asher, born in London in 1946, has carved out a distinguished career as a British actress. Her filmography includes memorable roles in seminal pictures such as "The Mask of the Red Death" and "Deep End," alongside a consistent presence in television projects. For a significant period between 1963 and 1968, she was famously linked to Paul McCartney, and her influence during that time is said to have inspired some of his most iconic musical creations. In 1981, Asher married Gerald Scafe, an illustrator she had first encountered in 1971. Together, they are parents to three children. Beyond her artistic endeavors, Jane Asher holds the esteemed position of president for the National Autistic Society.
