Jasmine Fiore — Biography

Born Jasmine Lepore in 1981, Fiore's early life was marked by her parents' divorce when she was eight. Her mother, Lisa Lepore, raised her in Bonny Doon, California. During her youth, Fiore enjoyed football and worked at a local grocery store. She pursued a career as a swimsuit model, often participating as a body-painted entertainer at parties and performing in shows at Las Vegas casinos. Fiore also appeared in commercials for adult phone lines and swimwear. Beyond her modeling and acting ventures, she obtained a real-estate license and had plans to establish a gym and personal training center.

Fiore met real estate investor Ryan Jenkins at a Las Vegas casino shortly after his elimination from the reality show "Megan Wants a Millionaire." Within two days, on March 18, 2009, they exchanged vows at A Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas Strip. Court records indicate that Jenkins faced charges in June 2009 in Clark County, Nevada, for battery constituting domestic violence, stemming from an incident where he allegedly struck Fiore's arm. Travis Heinrich, a witness, stated that Jenkins and Fiore were arguing about Fiore kissing Heinrich, her former fiancé, leading Jenkins to hit Fiore's arm, causing her to fall into a swimming pool. Jenkins was scheduled to go to trial in December. The couple reportedly reconciled shortly before Fiore's death, and they were allegedly traveling to San Diego for a poker game.

Lisa Lepore, Fiore's mother, asserted that her daughter and Jenkins frequently argued, with Jenkins exhibiting jealousy over Fiore's friendships with her ex-boyfriends. Conversely, Dan Jenkins, Ryan Jenkins' father, claimed Fiore was his son's sole friend in California, and that she would disappear for days at a time, lying to his son about her whereabouts. Additionally, Lepore informed The Associated Press that her daughter had initiated an annulment of her marriage to Jenkins in May 2009, though no court records of an annulment exist in either Nevada, where they married, or Los Angeles County, their last known residence.

Investigators reported that Jenkins and Fiore checked into the L'Auberge hotel in Del Mar, San Diego, on the evening of August 13, 2009, with plans to attend a charity poker tournament for the Carma Foundation at the Del Mar Hilton. Surveillance footage captured them leaving the Hilton around 2:30 a.m. on August 14. Later, the couple was seen at the Ivy Hotel, a nightclub in downtown San Diego. Around 4:30 a.m., Jenkins returned to the L'Auberge hotel alone. Fiore was not seen alive again. Jenkins departed the L'Auberge hotel at approximately 9 a.m. that day. Fiore's body was discovered, unidentified, on August 15 around 7 a.m. in
