Jayma Mays — Biography

Jamia Suzette Mays, an American performer, rose to prominence for her memorable portrayal of Emma Pillsbury in the acclaimed Fox musical series Glee, a role she embodied from 2009 to 2015. Her cinematic contributions include notable performances in the suspenseful thriller Red Eye (2005), the family comedy Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009), and the animated adventure The Smurfs (2011). Audiences also recognized her as Debbie in the sitcom The Millers, appearing from 2013 to 2014, and as Charlie Andrews, a recurring character on the NBC science fiction drama Heroes, from 2006 to 2010. More recently, Mays took on the lead role of prosecutor Carol Anne Keane in the NBC sitcom Trial & Error, gracing the screen in that capacity between 2017 and 2018.
