Jelena Rozga — Biography
Hailing from Split, a city in what was then SR Croatia, SFR Yugoslavia, Jelena Rozga established herself as a vibrant presence in Croatian music, weaving together threads of pop, folk, and electropop. Her artistic journey began in her youth, with early experiences as a ballet dancer. Rozga's significant breakthrough came in 1996 when she took center stage as the lead vocalist for Magazin, a well-regarded ensemble in the Croatian pop scene. She continued to front the band for a decade, departing in 2006, during which time they released five full-length studio recordings.
