Joanna Cassidy — Biography

Born Joanna Virginia Caskey on August 2, 1945, Joanna Cassidy is an American actress with a background in modeling. Her career in front of the camera began in the 1960s, and she transitioned to acting professionally in 1973. A memorable role came in 1982 when she portrayed the replicant Zhora Salome in the iconic science fiction film Blade Runner. Cassidy's filmography continued with notable roles in The Fourth Protocol (1987), and the critically acclaimed Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988), an appearance that earned her a Saturn Award nomination. She also featured in The Package (1989), Where the Heart Is (1990), Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991), Vampire in Brooklyn (1995), and Ghosts of Mars (2001).
