June Palmer, born on August 1, 1940, in London, England, was a prominent British pin-up model, actress, and exotic dancer. With notable measurements of 38-23-37, she gained recognition in the modeling world after beginning her career at the age of 17. June's most famous collaborations were with photographer Harrison Marks and Russell Gay, although her early days were marked by challenges, including her nervousness and giggling during test shoots that nearly prevented Marks from using her. She also appeared in a series of 8mm films and took on minor roles in various films, including The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders and Taste the Blood of Dracula. After shifting away from magazine modeling in 1970 at the age of 30, she continued her career in private modeling for camera clubs in London for a few years. In 1977, at 37, June made a notable comeback with a striking nude photo shoot for Mayfair magazine. At 53, she married 78-year-old photographer and stuntman Arthur Howell, and together they established Strobe Studio in Clapham, South London, where they worked as modeling agents. Their marriage lasted just under a decade, ending in divorce in 2000. June remarried but passed away on January 6, 2004.
