Karen Austin — Biography

Karen Austin, a familiar face on television, first graced the small screen as Lana Wagner, the initial Manhattan court clerk, in the inaugural season of NBC's Night Court. Her tenure on the popular sitcom spanned ten episodes. Austin also lent her talents to Steven Spielberg's anthology series, Taken, portraying Sister Ignaious. Her personal life includes a marriage to Kris Slava, which lasted from 1972 to 1982. She is the mother of Olivia Austin, born in 1989.
