À propos de Katja Kean

Katja Kean, originally named Sussi la Cour, was born on February 7, 1968, in Frederiksberg, Denmark. She is a former adult film star, entrepreneur, actress in mainstream films, singer, author, and media figure. Growing up in Denmark alongside an older sister who made a name in modeling, she pursued experience leadership studies at Roskilde Universitetscenter (RUC) and initially carved out a career in the hotel sector before stepping into the adult film industry at the age of 29. This late entry in her career, which commenced in 1997, stemmed from a sense of monotony and an urge to explore modeling more fully than she had in her early twenties.

Throughout her career, she adopted various stage names, including Katja K and Sussi la Cour Dollenz. In 2002, Katja opted to change her professional name from "Katja Kean" to "Katja K" after receiving complaints from a Danish family with the last name Kean, expressing discomfort over their name's association with her adult film career. Katja starred in a total of 61 films, with notable titles such as Constance (1998) and Pink Prison (1999), both produced by Lars von Trier’s pioneering adult film company, Zentropa. She collaborated with various prominent studios, including Private, Wicked Pictures, and Sin City during her career.

Celebrated for her striking looks, which drew comparisons to supermodel Christie Brinkley, she was recognized for her blonde hair, blue eyes, and an enhanced hourglass figure (34C-24-34), which later saw an upgrade from a B to C cup, all while maintaining a tattoo-free and piercing-free appearance. Katja was nominated for an AVN Award for Best Actress for her role in Millennium (1999) and received further nominations for Best All-Girl Sex Scene for her performances in Virtuoso and Watchers (2000).

After retiring from adult films in 2000, she successfully transitioned to mainstream acting, taking on roles such as in the Danish sitcom Langt fra Las Vegas. Additionally, she collaborated with musician Dario Campeotto on the song “Save Your Love” in 2001 and also featured in Filur’s “Sunset Boulevard.” Between 2004 and 2009, she owned a lingerie brand, Katja K Underwear, which ultimately faced bankruptcy. In 2002, she penned a biography titled Katja KXXX – Stjerne I Syndens By, co-written with Henrik List.

Katja was married to Marco Dollenz, her co-star from Constance, from 2016 until their divorce and does not have any documented children. In 2024, her admirers on Babepedia acknowledged her as a "Danish beauty with timeless allure," particularly celebrating her work in Constance, while a social media post referred to her as "the queen of the European goddesses" alongside Anita
