Kim Da-hyun — Biography
Dahyun, known by her single name, is a South Korean vocalist and rapper. She is a part of the JYP Entertainment girl group Twice, assembled through the competition show Sixteen. Her popularity was recognized in the 2017 Gallup Korea annual music poll, where she ranked as the 17th most favored idol in South Korea. Her journey to becoming a Twice member began in 2015 on Sixteen, a survival reality program designed to select the members for JYP Entertainment's upcoming girl group. She secured her spot in the final episode. Twice officially launched their career on October 20, 2015, with the release of their debut mini-album, The Story Begins, featuring the title track "Like Ooh-Ahh." A debut showcase took place on the same date. As of October 2025, Dahyun's Instagram account has attracted 9.4 million followers. She performs in the K-Pop ensemble Twice alongside Im Na-yeon, Momo Hirai, Jeongyeon, Park Ji-hyo, Chaeyoung, and Chou Tzu-yu.
