Krista Kosonen — Biography

Krista Kosonen is a Finnish performer who has carved out a notable career in film and television. Her credits include roles in productions such as Jade Warrior from 2006, Princess released in 2010, and the HBO series Beforeigners, which aired in Norway in 2019 and again in 2021. Audiences may also recognize her from the sketch comedy program Putous, a show she was part of from 2010 to 2014. Kosonen's talent was recognized internationally when she was honored as Best Actress at the Shanghai International Film Festival for her work in Wildeye in 2015. Further cementing her acclaim, she has received two Jussi Awards, Finland's national film prize, for Best Leading Actress. Her wins came in 2016 for Wildeye and in 2018 for her performance in Miami.
