Leah Polonsky — Biography
Born on May 25, 2002, Lea Polonsky is an accomplished Israeli swimmer. Her early successes include earning silver medals at the 2017 European Youth Olympics in both the 200m Medley event and the mixed 4x100m Medley Relay. Continuing her strong performances, she secured a bronze medal in the 200 IM at the 2019 European Junior Swimming Championships. More recently, Polonsky achieved a gold medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay and a silver medal in the 200m medley at the 2024 European Aquatics Championships. Her international career was further highlighted by her representation of Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she competed in the Women's 200 metre freestyle, the 200 metre individual medley, and the 4x200 metre freestyle relay.
