Lena Katina — Biography

Elena Sergeevna Katina, commonly recognized as Lena Katina, is a celebrated Russian musician known primarily for being one half of the pop/electronica duo t.A.T.u. Her musical journey began at the tender age of eight when she became a member of the Russian children's group Avenue, before moving on to join Neposedy. In 1999, she was selected by producer Ivan Shapovalov, alongside Julia Volkova, to form the group t.A.T.u. This duo would go on to achieve immense success as Russia's leading pop music act. Their catalog includes several chart-topping hits, such as "All the Things She Said," "Not Gonna Get Us," and "All About Us." Their debut single, "All the Things She Said," notably reached the top spot in nineteen countries, including the UK, Russia, and Australia.
