Linda Christian — Biography

Linda Christian, a screen presence of the 1940s and 50s, captivated audiences with a lineage tracing back to Dutch, German, French, and Spanish roots. Her striking looks led to her being dubbed "The Atomic Bomb," a testament to her renowned beauty. While her acting credits were numerous, it was her highly publicized marriage to American leading man Tyrone Power that truly propelled her into the spotlight. This union, however, proved tempestuous, ultimately dissolving in divorce in 1956. Following this, she entered into a relationship with Alfonso de Portago, a romance tragically cut short by his fatal racing accident in his Ferrari during the 1957 Mille Miglia. She is the mother of actresses Romina Power and Taryn Power.
