Linda Summers, born on November 20, 1950, in San Diego, California, is a former nude model recognized as Playmate of the Month for August 1972. Her iconic centerfold was captured by photographers William Figge and Ed DeLong. During the time of her feature in Playboy, Linda was a strong proponent of healthy living, working at a health-food store in San Diego. According to The Playmate Book, she later transitioned to a career as an escrow officer in a real estate firm. Linda also held the title of Playmate of the Month in Playboy Germany in May 1973.
