À propos de Maria Mazza
Maria Mazza is a multifaceted talent from Italy, known for her work as a model, dancer, actress, and television presenter. Originally from the United States, she relocated with her family to Sant'Anastasia, near Naples, at the young age of five. Maria's artistic journey began early; she started piano lessons at three and took up dancing at six. In 1996, she earned recognition in the Miss Italia beauty pageant, finishing in third place and winning the Miss Elegance title. Following a short stint in modeling in Milan, she pursued acting studies under the guidance of Antonio Sanna.
In 1997, Maria showcased her dancing skills in the summer program Scirocco on Rai Due, subsequently featuring in Domenica In for two seasons. Her acting career took off in 1998 when she landed a minor role in the Canale 5 miniseries "Anni 50," directed by Carlo Vanzina and starring Ezio Greggio. She made her film debut in 2001 in the movie "Stregati dalla luna," directed by Pino Ammendola and Nicola Pistoia, as well as participating in a theatrical production by Fabio Canino titled "Fiesta."
The following year, she became one of the prominent characters in "Un amore perfetto," directed by Valerio Andrei, and appeared alongside Carlo Conti in the inaugural season of the show "I raccomandati." After a brief period in England where she worked on Channel 4’s gossip magazine "Too fashion," Maria was cast in the role of Daniela for the 2006 film "Did I leave because I love you too," directed by Francis Ranieri Martinotti. In March of that year, she joined the 15th season of the popular program "Piazza Grande" on Rai Due, co-hosting with Giancarlo Magalli.
Returning to theater in 2009, she starred in the comedy "Non mi dire te l'ho detto," directed by Guglielmo Marino. Currently, Maria hosts her own show on Comedy Central called "Parla con la Mazza," and appears on Canale 5's show "Avanti un altro," where she embodies the character of a seductive doctor. She had a notable relationship with renowned Italian professional footballer Francesco Totti from 1999 to 2000. While she has maintained a modest image by not posing topless, some of her artistic photos have featured her silhouette in sheer garments in the magazine Capital. As of July 2024, Maria enjoys a following of 267,000 followers on Instagram.
