Meagan Good — Biography

Meagan Monique Good is an American performer, recognized for her work in acting and modeling. Her early career saw her earn praise for her part in the 1997 movie Eve's Bayou. This led to her securing the role of Nina in the Nickelodeon series Cousin Skeeter, which aired from 1998 to 2001. Good's profile grew significantly with her starring performances in the films Deliver Us from Eva in 2003, Roll Bounce in 2005, and Stomp the Yard in 2007. In 2012, she was part of the ensemble cast for the film Think Like a Man. The subsequent year, she took on the leading role of Joanna Locasto in the NBC drama series Deception and appeared in the comedy Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. Good has also contributed supporting performances to films such as One Missed Call and Saw V, both released in 2008, and The Unborn in 2009. More recently, she portrayed the superhero alter ego of Darla Dudley in the DC Extended Universe films Shazam! in 2019 and Shazam! Fury of the Gods in 2023. Good's heritage encompasses African, Cherokee, Puerto Rican, and Sephardi Jewish ancestry.
