Meg Tilly — Biography

Born Margaret Elizabeth Chan on Valentine's Day in 1960, Meg Tilly is a performer and author who holds dual Canadian-American citizenship. Her portrayal in the 1985 film Agnes of God earned her a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination for supporting actress. Audiences may also recognize her from films such as Psycho II, The Big Chill, Masquerade, and Valmont. On the small screen, Tilly's work in the television series Bomb Girls garnered her the 2013 Canadian Screen Award for best lead actress in a drama. Beyond her acting career, Tilly has penned several books, including the novel Porcupine, which was recognized as a finalist for the Sheila A. Egoff Children's Literature Prize. She is the sister of fellow actress Jennifer Tilly.
