Mia Khalifa was born in Beirut, Lebanon and relocated to the United States alongside her family in 2001, as she disclosed during a Newsweek interview in 2024. During her teenage years, she settled in Montgomery County, Maryland, where she attended Northwest High School. She went on to complete her education at the University of Texas at El Paso, earning a Bachelor of Arts in history. Today, Khalifa is recognized as a Lebanese-American internet personality, mainstream model, and sports commentator. She has two younger siblings, including a brother and a sister. Khalifa previously worked in the adult entertainment industry as a performer and model before exiting the field early in her career. When she made her debut appearance with Scoreland in late 2014, she performed under the stage name Mia Callista. The company marketed her with the tagline "Busty Girl Who Works Behind The Counter At The Hamburger Joint," and following her initial solo photoshoot, she transitioned to performing in explicit scenes.
