Regininha Poltergeist — Biography

Regina Soares began her career in the advertising modeling world in 1987. Three years later, she completed her studies at the State School of Dance Maria Olinewa, affiliated with the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro. Her rise to prominence occurred in 1990 through the production Santa Clara Poltergeist, a creation of singer Fausto Fawcett, from which she adopted her professional moniker, Regininha Poltergeist. Fawcett also helmed the show Básico Instinto, which she joined from 1991 to 1993. On the small screen, Regininha appeared in the comedic sketch show Zorra Total on TV Globo, and in 1999, she hosted the adult-oriented program Puro Êxtase, broadcast by the then-joint venture CNT/Gazeta. Following an extended hiatus from public visibility, the model accepted an offer from producer Brasileirinhas to feature in adult films. Her first such role, in the production Perigosa, premiered in June 2007, with two additional films released in the subsequent two years. Her image graced the cover of Brazilian Playboy in February 1994. She also appeared on the cover of Sexway in 2001, Trip Magazine in March 1993, Sexy Magazine in December 1993 and November 1994, and had a secondary shoot for Sexy Magazine in August 1993.
