Reiko Ike — Biography

Born on May 25, 1953, in the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan, Reiko Ike carved out a distinctive niche in the Japanese entertainment landscape as an actress, singer, and performer. Her name became particularly synonymous with the daring and often provocative realm of pink films, a genre celebrated for its blend of action and eroticism, where she left an indelible mark. Beyond her cinematic work, Ike also ventured into music, releasing a collection of songs titled Kōkotsu No Sekai in 1971. The course of her career took a turn in the 1970s following legal entanglements, including an arrest related to drug offenses and another for participating in illegal gambling, events that ultimately led her to step away from the public eye and the entertainment industry.
