Demi Bennett is an Australian professional wrestler currently contracted to WWE as of April 2024, performing on the Raw roster under the name Rhea Ripley. She holds membership in The Judgment Day faction and shares the record for the longest Women's World Championship reign at 380 days with Bayley, whose real name is Pamela Rose Martinez. Bennett began her wrestling career on the independent scene in 2013 under her real name before joining WWE through the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament in 2017. She advanced to the semi-finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic and subsequently became part of the founding NXT UK roster, capturing the inaugural NXT UK Women's Championship in August 2018. Her tenure on the NXT brand from 2019 to 2021 included winning the NXT Women's Championship and making history as the brand's first champion to defend a title at WrestleMania. She transitioned to the main Raw roster in 2022 and joined The Judgment Day. Throughout her career, Bennett has held the NXT UK Women's Championship, NXT Women's Championship, Raw Women's Championship, and WWE Women's Tag Team Championship with Nikki Cross. By winning the SmackDown Women's Championship in April 2023, she earned the distinction of being the seventh WWE Women's Triple Crown Champion and fifth WWE Women's Grand Slam Champion, notably becoming the sole wrestler to have held all five titles. She also holds the historic title of first female Australian WWE champion. The 2023 Women's Royal Rumble winner, Ripley was the fourth wrestler and first woman to achieve victory while entering as the number one participant. Bennett grew up admiring The Miz and maintains proficiency in swimming, karate, rugby, netball, and soccer. She supports the Adelaide Football Club. Since 2022, she has been dating fellow Australian wrestler Buddy Matthews, whom she became engaged to in August 2023 and married on June 24, 2024. Bennett is passionate about the bands Ice Nine Kills, Falling in Reverse, and Motionless in White, with the latter group co-creating and performing her WWE entrance theme "Demon In Your Dreams" at WrestleMania XL. She has English and Italian heritage and maintains 5.6 million followers on TikTok as of October 2025.
