Samia Gamal was an Egyptian actress and burlesque dancer born on March 5, 1924, in Beni suef, Egypt. Known as the "Butterfly of Egyptian cinema," she was active from 1939 to 1972. With her brown hair and eyes, and standing at 5'5", she captivated audiences throughout her career.
