Sandra Brea, a Brazilian talent, graced both the acting and modeling worlds. She was a prominent face of the Porn Art Movement and rose to be one of Brazil's most significant sex symbols, particularly during the 1970s. Her striking image was captured in numerous nude spreads for publications like Playboy, gracing its pages in June 1981 and October 1985, as well as for Status magazine, appearing in their October 1975, July 1976, January 1977, July 1978, and August 1982 issues, among others.
Brea also played a crucial role in the Brazilian sexploitation film genre, known as Pornochanchada, during the 1970s, appearing in no fewer than 14 films. Her presence extended to Brazilian television, where she featured in at least 18 soap operas and a multitude of comedy programs. In a significant personal revelation, she publicly disclosed her HIV diagnosis in August 1993. Sandra Brea passed away in 2000, succumbing to lung cancer.
