Santana Garrett — Biography

Santana Garrett embarked on her professional wrestling journey in November 2009 within Bruno Sassi's Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW) in South Florida. Her debut match on November 27 saw her defeat Kimberly to claim the CCW Ladies Championship. She successfully defended this title against Betsy Ruth, Isis The Amazon, and Jessika Haze in a fatal four-way match on December 12, and again in singles competition against Haze on February 13 and May 15 of the following year.

Garrett also engaged in tag team action during this period. On April 3, she partnered with Nooie Lee to defeat Lucky O'Shea and Maxwell Chicago. May 8 saw her and Lee victorious over Becky Bayless and Mister Saint Laurent, and on June 12, she teamed with Sean Waltman to achieve the same result against the same opponents. She defended her championship via disqualification against Rosie Lottalove on June 19. July 24 saw Garrett and Nooie Lee defeat Cherry Layne and Mike Reed. On August 21, Garrett teamed with Leva Bates to defeat Haze and Lottalove. Garrett then bested Haze on August 28. On October 2, she partnered with JD Amazing to defeat Jason Hanley and Shooter Storm in a mixed tag team match. A non-title victory against Calypso occurred on October 16. However, on December 4, Garrett lost the Ladies title to Haze in a triple-threat match that also included Calypso.

In early 2010, Garrett earned another title opportunity by pinning Haze in a mixed tag match on March 26 alongside Pablo Marquez. Though she unsuccessfully challenged Jessicka Havok for the title on April 3, she secured another shot by defeating Black Tigress, Danny Demanto, and Christina Von Eerie. On May 21, Garrett defeated Havok to reclaim the CCW Ladies Championship. She went on to defend it against Von Eerie, Aiden Altair, Jaime D, Jelena, and Wayne Van Dyke. On May 27, she dropped the title back to Havok. In February 2011, she challenged Bates for the Ladies Championship but was unsuccessful. On March 3, Garrett defeated Von Eerie in a singles match, and on May 5, she defeated Rain.

Garrett's independent circuit career began in 2010. As Santana G, she appeared in IWA Mid-South on March 26, defeating Jessika Haze. Her debut in World League Wrestling (WLW) on April 23 saw her team with Eathon Wright and Ryan Drago to win a mixed tag team match, pinning Amy Hennig.
