Soundarya Sharma — Biography

Soundarya Sharma is an Indian performer who first stepped into the cinematic world with the 2017 romance flick, Ranchi Diaries. Her journey in the entertainment sphere took a different turn in 2022 when she became a contender on the popular reality television program, Bigg Boss 16.

Born on September 20, 1994, in Preet Vihar, a locality in East Delhi, India, Soundarya hails from a Brahmin lineage. Her upbringing was nurtured within a loving family unit, including her father, Naresh Sharma, her mother, Usha Sharma, who dedicated herself to teaching, and her siblings, Avinash and Mona Sharma. From a young age, Soundarya displayed a profound inclination towards music, dedicating herself to the study of Indian classical forms. Her artistic aspirations also extended to the theatrical arts, a passion that propelled her to engage with institutions like the National School of Drama and the ACT 1 Theatre group.
