Summer Lyn Glau, born on July 24, 1981, is a notable American actress recognized primarily for her performances in television series within the science fiction and fantasy genres. She gained fame for portraying River Tam in the cult classic Firefly (2002) and its sequel film Serenity (2005). Additionally, she played Tess Doerner in The 4400 from 2005 to 2007, Cameron in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles between 2008 and 2009, and Bennett Halverson in Dollhouse from 2009 to 2010.
