Terry Higgins — Biography

Terry Higgins represents a pivotal connection between the glamorous icons of the 1950s and the whimsical, youthful sex symbols of the 1960s. With her curvaceous blonde appeal, boasting measurements of 40-23-37, she embodies the quintessential buxom beauty, yet possesses a playful, girlish charm reminiscent of the pin-up legends from the mod era. Higgins skillfully blended sultriness with a lighthearted innocence, causing her images to truly pop off the pages of magazines. She embarked on her pin-up journey in the late 1950s at just 18 years old, quickly becoming a popular feature in classic men's magazines like Adam, Modern Man, and Jem. While she embraced the playful spirit of traditional pin-up artistry, her fashion model vibe allowed her to adapt when the burlesque style waned in popularity. Sadly, Higgins’ career did not extend far beyond her pin-up status. She spent some time as a dancer and showgirl, appeared in a few nudie-cutie films, and held minor roles in Hollywood productions, most notably in Jerry Lewis' "The Nutty Professor."
