Valerie "Val" Dodds, also known as "Val Midwest," is a Nebraska native who grew up in the state and attended Pius X Catholic High School in Lincoln before ultimately graduating from Lincoln East High School. She has siblings, including a younger brother. On Mother's Day in 2013, she made headlines by returning to the Pius X campus, where she posed nude for photographs and videos, wearing only a crucifix. This act led to her receiving a citation from the Lincoln Police for public nudity and trespassing after the media coverage of her actions was posted on her website, ValMidwest.com. In a subsequent demonstration, she returned to the campus wearing only pasties and a thong while holding her citation, adhering to local laws regarding nudity. Following her conviction, Valerie was handed a 45-day jail sentence, consisting of 15 days for public nudity and 30 days for trespassing, to be served consecutively. She completed her sentence after deciding not to pursue any appeals. This incident marked the beginning of her career in adult entertainment, which grew significantly from her initial website. Her performances included solo acts, girl/girl scenes, and boy/girl interactions. In 2016, she received a nomination for AVN Hottest Newcomer and, the following year, was nominated for Best All Girl Performance by AVN, along with being recognized as a Hustler Honey in 2016.
