À propos de Vida Guerra

Vida Guerra, born on March 19, 1974, in Havana, Cuba, moved to the United States with her family during her childhood, settling in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. As she grew up, Guerra participated in various fashion shows, particularly showcasing swimwear, and made appearances in music videos.

Her first significant recognition came in December 2002 when she was featured in a lingerie spread for FHM magazine. The magazine later disclosed that nearly one-third of the responses they received were requests for more of Guerra's photographs. This led to additional photo shoots, and in 2004, she earned the title of "FHM's Model of the Year." Following this, she graced the covers of several magazines, such as DUB, Smooth, Escape, and Open Your Eyes. Guerra has also made numerous appearances on popular Spanish-language television shows, notably the entertainment gossip program El Gordo y la Flaca.

She became well-known in the music industry, appearing in the hit songs "Shake Ya Tailfeather" by Nelly, P. Diddy, and Murphy Lee from the Bad Boys II soundtrack in 2003, “The New Workout Plan” by Kanye West in 2004, and "Obsession (No Es Amor)" by Frankie J featuring Baby Bash in 2005, among others. Aside from music videos, Guerra has been featured in a commercial for Burger King’s TenderCrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch, performed in sketches on Chappelle's Show, including a parody of R. Kelly's infamous music video, and acted in the film National Lampoon's Dorm Daze 2.

In April 2005, Guerra was reportedly the victim of a camera phone hack, resulting in the widespread circulation of several photos, including nude images. She claimed that the nude photographs were of another woman, mixed with her own non-nude images, creating a misleading narrative. In 2005, Guerra was ranked 26th in "FHM's Top 100 Sexiest Females," and she has received the magazine's "Best Butt Award" on two separate occasions. She has created her own swimsuit calendars and behind-the-scenes DVDs, as well as a DVD titled Vida Guerra: Exposed released in 2006. That same year, Playboy featured her first formal nude photographs, with Guerra expressing that her desire to showcase her true appearance was partly motivated by the camera phone incident.

The lead single from her debut album, "You Got Me," was leaked online on November 2, 2006. In a July 2008 appearance on The Jace Hall Show, she reflected on her show Livin' the Low Life, admitting that while she initially had mixed feelings about lowrider cars, her experience filming the first season led her to consider getting one. Guerra was also featured in the "FHM Sexiest Woman of the Year 2017" list, finishing in 89th place.
