Viveka Babajee — Biography
Born on May 27, 1973, Viveka Babajee was a prominent figure from Mauritius, recognized for her talents as an actress, a model, and for achieving beauty pageant success. She earned the distinguished titles of Miss Mauritius World in 1993 and Miss Mauritius Universe in 1994. Her career saw a significant rise to fame through her memorable advertisements for KamaSutra condoms during the 1990s. She also became associated with a controversial incident at the 1994 Manila Film Festival. Tragically, on June 25, 2010, Babajee was discovered deceased in her Mumbai apartment in Bandra, having apparently taken her own life by hanging from a ceiling fan. Authorities investigating the circumstances concluded that her death was a suicide, attributed to her struggles with depression.
