Eiko Koike — Biography
Eiko Koike is a performer hailing from Japan, recognized for her contributions to acting, her work as a gravure idol, and her modeling career. Her acting credits include a role in Kunitoshi Manda's cinematic offering, The Kiss. Viewers may also recall her presence in Kiyoshi Kurosawa's 2012 television serial, Penance. She shared the screen with Sayuri Yoshinaga in Junji Sakamoto's film, A Chorus of Angels. Additionally, she was a co-star alongside Takayuki Yamada in Masanori Tominaga's production, Vengeance Can Wait. Koike earned a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Japan Academy Prize for her notable performance in the movie Rebirth. Beyond her native country, her most recognized project is the film 2LDK. From 2000 to 2006, she also lent her voice as a ringside commentator and served as a spokesperson for Japan's PRIDE Fighting Championships.
