Elsa Sorensen — Biography

Elsa Sørensen, a Danish talent primarily recognized in the modeling world under the moniker Dane Arden, holds a notable place in the history of Playboy magazine. Before her association with the publication, she had already achieved the title of Miss Denmark in 1955. Her appearance in Playboy was as the Playmate of the Month for the September 1956 issue, a feature captured by photographer Peter Gowland. Sørensen is also distinguished as what is believed to be the inaugural Playmate hailing from outside the United States.
