Helena Mattsson is a Swedish actress who resides and works in Hollywood. Hailing from Stockholm, Sweden, she performed in various cabarets and had early roles in productions like Wild Side Story. At a young age, she relocated to London to pursue her studies at a theatre school. At 19, she moved to Hollywood, where she has continued her career. In 2007, she appeared in Species: The Awakening and was cast in You and I. Additionally, in 2006, she featured in the music video for Primal Scream’s "Country Girl." Mattsson gained recognition for her performances in popular American TV shows, including "Desperate Housewives," "Nikita," and "666 Park Avenue." She took part in the Touchstone Pictures film Surrogates. Most recently, she made an appearance in four episodes of ABC's Desperate Housewives, portraying the character "Irina." Trained in both Martial Arts and dance, Helena Mattsson also plays Ashley McGrady, a recurring character in seasons 4 and 5 of The Rookie, and she is known as the former girlfriend of Sergeant Tim Bradford.
