Jacqueline Fernandez — Biography
Jacqueline Fernandez, born on August 11, 1985, is an actress from Sri Lanka, along with being a former model and beauty queen who claimed the title of Miss Sri Lanka Universe in 2006. She made her entry into Bollywood with Sujoy Ghosh’s film Aladin, which earned her the International Indian Film Academy Award for Best Female Debut and the Stardust Award for Lux Exciting New Face in 2010. Her popularity soared with Mahesh Bhatt's hit film Murder 2 in 2011, where her allure gained significant attention. Following this success, she starred in high-grossing films like Housefull 2 in 2012 and Race 2 in 2013. Jacqueline also took the lead in the notable production Roy and made her Hollywood debut with a prominent role in According to Mathew. Additionally, she was approached for a part in Prince of Malacca. Beyond her substantial film roles, she gained recognition for her appearances in popular songs such as "Dhanno," "Lat Lag Gayee" from Race 2, and "Jadoo Ki Jhappi" from Ramaiya Vastavaiya.
