Julie Delpy — Biography

Born on December 21, 1969, Julie Delpy is a multifaceted talent, equally adept as an actress, director, composer, and singer-songwriter, holding both French and American citizenship. Her passion for filmmaking led her to pursue studies at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Across her career, Delpy has been involved in over thirty cinematic projects, contributing as a director, writer, and performer. Her filmography boasts notable works such as Europa Europa, Voyager, Three Colours: White, the acclaimed Before trilogy spanning 1995, 2004, and 2013, An American Werewolf in Paris, and 2 Days in Paris. Between 2007 and 2012, Delpy was in a relationship with German film composer Marc Streitenfeld, with whom she welcomed a son in January 2009. In 2015, she entered into marriage with Dimitris Birbilis.
