Karissa Shannon is one half of the Shannon Twins, an American glamour model, nude model, actress, and adult film star. In 2009, she and her identical twin sister, Kristina Shannon, gained recognition as Playboy Playmates. The twins made a significant move in 2008 when they entered the Playboy Mansion, becoming some of Hugh Hefner's latest girlfriends. They soon appeared on the reality show The Girls Next Door, sharing the spotlight with Crystal Harris. Karissa was featured as Miss July 2009, while Kristina graced the pages as Miss August in a collaborative "summer issue" of Playboy. Unlike previous sets of centerfold twins, they achieved consecutive months as Playmates but shared a singular centerfold spread.
