Kristin Kreuk — Biography
Kristin Kreuk entered the world on December 30th, 1982, in Vancouver, Canada. She has achieved considerable recognition for portraying Lana Lang throughout the television series Smallville, as well as for her performances as Laurel Yeung in Edgemont and Catherine Chandler in Beauty & the Beast. Her film appearances include roles in Snow White, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, Vampire, Irvine Welsh's Ecstasy, and Space Milkshake. In 2005, she earned the number 1 position on Femme Fatales' list of the 50 Sexiest Women of the Year. Together with her associate Kendra Voth, Kreuk founded "Girls By Design," an initiative aimed at inspiring and developing teenage girls through creative and educational activities. She maintains active involvement with Team Power Smart, an organization focused on advancing energy efficiency practices, and participates with the American Red Cross.
