Laure Sainclair — Biography

Laure Sainclair, originally named Laurence Fontaine, was born on May 24, 1972, in the vicinity of Rennes, France. Her journey in the adult entertainment industry began when she participated in a striptease contest at the 1995 Adult Exhibition in Rennes. Although she initially did some filming, she was deterred by the working conditions and chose to step back from the industry. However, she was later convinced by Marc Dorcel, who offered her an exclusive contract, prompting her to reconsider. Sainclair went on to star in 16 films and earned the Hot d'Or award for Best European Starlet in 1996.

She gained significant recognition in 1997 when she co-starred alongside Jenna Jameson in the widely popular film Wicked Weapon. Continuing her work with Wicked Video's European division until 2000, Sainclair appeared in various titles, including "L'Obsession de Laure," "L'Heritage de Laure," and "L'Indecente aux Enfers." Throughout her career, she never filmed more than a few movies each year, resulting in a relatively limited filmography, although she consistently held the role of the leading character or star in the productions.

Laure Sainclair showcased a wide array of sexual practices in her films, which ranged from vaginal to anal scenes, and she often featured in sophisticated X-rated films that combined storylines with intense eroticism. Eventually, she decided to leave the adult film industry and transitioned to a career in radio, drawing parallels to Tabatha Cash's trajectory. Since then, she has become more socially aware and has campaigned for people living with AIDS. In some English-speaking markets, she is credited as Laure Sinclair or Laura Sinclair. Sainclair has filmed explicit scenes with notable performers such as Roberto Malone and Christoph Clark.
