Lauren Ambrose — Biography
Born in 1978, Lauren Ambrose is an American performer known for her work in both acting and singing. Her career took a significant turn with her portrayal of Claire Fisher in the acclaimed HBO drama series Six Feet Under, which aired from 2001 to 2005. This role earned her two Primetime Emmy Award nominations and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Ambrose continued to captivate audiences with her subsequent television roles. She featured as Jilly Kitzinger in the 2011 BBC One science fiction series Torchwood: Miracle Day.
