Leryn Franco — Biography

Born in Asunción on March 1, 1982, Leryn Dahiana Franco Steneri is a Paraguayan personality known for her ventures in modeling, acting, and athletics. She remains connected to the sporting world, currently contributing to the athletics department at Club Sol de América. Franco's athletic career saw her represent Paraguay at three Olympic Games: 2004, 2008, and 2012, where she competed in the javelin throw. A notable moment in her athletic journey occurred on June 8, 2012, in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, during the 2012 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics. There, she set a personal best in the javelin throw with a mark of 57.77 meters. This impressive throw not only marked a personal achievement but also established a new national record, surpassing her previous record of 55.66 meters, which she had set at the 2011 South American Championships in Athletics. Transitioning into acting, Franco was cast in the 2013 Irish film Eliza Lynch: Queen of Paraguay, taking on the role of the younger Eliza Lynch.
