Liyuu — Biography

Liyuu, a talent hailing from China, has established herself as a singer and cosplayer under the banners of HoriPro International and Lantis. Her journey into the public eye began as a cosplayer, a passion she pursued prior to 2016. Her musical career officially launched in 2020 with the unveiling of her debut single, "Magic Words." This track, in particular, found its way into the anime world, serving as the opening theme for the television series Hatena Illusion. Her musical contributions have also been heard in I'm Standing on a Million Lives. Beyond her solo music, Liyuu is recognized for her portrayal of Tang Keke within the expansive mixed-media project Love Live! Superstar!!. Within her group, Liella, her colleagues affectionately refer to her as Li-chan. Despite residing in Shanghai, Liyuu maintains a frequent presence in Japan, traveling at least monthly to engage in both her cosplay and artist endeavors. As of August 2025, her online reach is notable, with Instagram boasting 620,000 followers and her YouTube channel counting 63,000 subscribers.
