Marcella Bella's career truly took flight in 1972 when she presented "Montagne Verdi" at the Sanremo Festival, a song penned by her brother Gianni alongside Giancarlo Bigazzi. Around that time, her distinctive hairstyle also earned her the affectionate moniker "Bush" from fans and observers. Following this breakthrough, she experienced further success with a memorable run in the 1972-1973 installment of the popular television show Canzonissima.
