Born on December 18, 1977, Maria Brink stands as a prominent American vocalist and lyricist, primarily recognized for her commanding presence as the lead singer of the metal ensemble In This Moment. Over their career, the band has unveiled seven full-length studio recordings and garnered a total of four award nominations. These accolades include two nods from the Alternative Press Music Awards, one nomination for a prestigious Grammy Award, and a single nomination from the Loudwire Music Awards. Brink herself has been celebrated with the title "Rock Goddess of the Year" at the third (2013) and fifth (2015) ceremonies of the Annual Loudwire Music Awards.
